Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: The original broad objectives of this review were to identify and assess the effects of interventions that: a) aim to improve people's understanding of screening and the results of the screening process; and b) aim to minimise the adverse psychological impact and/or anxiety associated with screening.
