The families we approached have two exceptional things in common: they all experienced the dramatic event of a life-threatening disease such as leukaemia affecting one of their children; and, in all of these families, that child was treated with a stem cell transplant taken from a sibling’s body. In this last chapter of the book we reflect very briefly on our interview experiences, analysis, and discussions. In the end, we identify open questions and further areas which may invite further research.
