Abstract
In this chapter, principle and characteristics of solar cell and building-integrated photovoltaic system are discussed. Firstly, characteristics of solar cells under lighting are analyzed, secondly, output parameters of solar cell module are considered, and impact of module and array output are investigated. Finally, the application of building-integrated photovoltaic system and system design are presented.
