Digital Technologies in Counteracting to Extremism Among Young People

Abstract

The goal of the research is to analyze and systematize the main directions of counteracting to extremism among young people with the use of digital technologies. The authors analyze the threats of modern digital technologies and the opportunities they can provide for effective counteracting to the manifestations of extremism among young people. The work shows the directions of youth extremism prevention with the use of the latest digital technologies. The authors disclose the contents of digital information support for fighting against extremism; note that digitalization can contribute to the formation of citizenship, patriotic education of students. They assess the significance and role of such opportunities in the field of counteracting to extremism among young people. In the opinion of the authors IT-technologies can contribute to effective information support for counteracting to extremism among young people.
