Abstract

The article aims to know the assessment made by the professionals of the Municipal Points of Attention to Women Victims of Gender Violence of the Community of Madrid on the usefulness of telematic monitoring systems for the protection of women victims of gender violence. The methodology used is qualitative through the conduct of 34 interviews with 59 of these professionals. Two types of discourses have been found: one focused on security and the other on prevention. Each one makes a different assessment of these telematic systems.
