Abstract

The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between aspects of organizacional culture and the disposition to organizacional change. A quantitative, non-experimental study was carried out under a comparative design; with a sample of 558 participants from four higher education institutions. The instruments used allowed the evaluation of the organizational culture —OCAI— and the willingness to change. The results showed significant relationships between the factors and the types of organizational culture with the macro and micro dimensions of the disposition to organizational change. Significant differences were also found between the institutions in the group and organizational dimensions of the disposition to change; in the organizational factor and the type of hierarchical culture. It is evident how the organizational culture is particularly related to organizational aspects and business communication.
