The musculoskeletal ultrasound evaluation of the wrist can be a daunting task, because there are a large number of anatomical structures in a small area. This chapter reviews the main structures on the volar (palmar) aspect of the wrist that are amenable to ultrasound evaluation, the six dorsal compartments of the wrist, and common clinical problems encountered.
