Abstract

The objective of the work is to make a description of the viceregal hydraulic model that was built in the Historic Center of Lima under a pre-Hispanic system supplied with water by the Rímac river. From the foundation, Lima develops new architectural forms with various materials to develop a model ca-pable of correctly managing water in the city. With urban planning, aqueducts, secondary channels, water boxes, nozzles, pipes, fountains, sewers and wells are built that will form part of the hydraulic model of the city of Lima. Through the results, new perspectives for the development of cities must be considered from a cultural, hydraulic, architectural and sustainable perspective.
