Abstract

Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is a standardized procedure or stage and must be passed to complete a particular work process. To maintain the consistency of the level of performance or certain conditions and where officers and the environment in carrying out a particular task or job understanding the desires of patients with appropriate performance standards is a very important thing that affects patient satisfaction. Design of this study was Cross-Sectional with the number of samples was 140 respondents which were chosen through a Purposive Sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire sheet. The result of the test indicated most implementation of standard operating procedures did have not good categories (64,3%) and the majority of patient satisfaction level which was not satisfied (62,1%). Spearman Rank test showed that there was a significant relation of standard operating procedures toward patient satisfaction in Puskesmas Pembantu Tanjung Benoa (p-value=0,000). Based on the results of this study, it is expected that this study can be used as a reference source for education to develop evidence-based nursing, especially about patient satisfaction on health service.
