Abstract

Sexual harassment is a major problem that is not openly discussed in countries like Bangladesh.Women are the major victims of this problem who hesitate to share the problem. Strategies to discuss about sexual harassment are explored here. The initial conversation was over online survey where silence was observed. It followed a series of methods using focus group discussions, individual discussions, and sharing experience over writing or over phone calls. Indirection during the communication method helped the participants (female) to discuss with certain comfort level. Once there is a level of trust, indirection is no longer required. The journey of working on sexual harassment and how various communication modes helped in generating a productive conversation is presented in this chapter.
