Abstract

With solar sector boundary dates as key days in the superposed epoch method and with thunderstorm frequency over latitude band in Northern United States as the variable, a maximum in thunderstorm frequency was found one day after boundary passage in three independent sets of data. This appears to be statistically significant on the 1% level. -Author
