Abstract

With the new emerging technologies, many ways are being adopted to provide quality information and knowledge in the learning environment. The use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology is being widely accepted in various domains including the field of education and learning. AR applications are available as either marker-based or marker-less. This experience of AR is becoming easily available with the evolving mobile wireless devices. However, there is a huge scope of using wearables as a medium of AR. In this paper, we are proposing the use of smartwatch as a platform to introduce dynamic markers. With the help of voice recognition, Dynamic markers help in providing a platform with wide collection of markers that can be selected anywhere without the need to carry any related document as the target. Further the scope of application of Dynamic Marker based Augmented Reality (DyMAR) is discussed.
