Abstract

IT governance is a discipline of corporate governance. Standard ISO/IEC 38500 set the basis for implementing IT governance. Nevertheless, IT governance is based in a set of best practices. There have been attempts to implement IT governance from different perspectives, none based on processes. This paper defines a process framework to implement IT governance in organizations, regardless of their size and type. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.
