Abstract

This paper investigates the effect of change management and management competence factors on the implementation of turnaround strategy within organizations that would be either in declining or turnaround situations. Literature review on the, genesis of turnaround strategy implementations, the context inwhich the implementations were considered through a desktop research methodology and conclusions made from it. A summary of the possible effects of the factors on turnaround strategy implementation is made upon which recommendations are made in order to enhance chances of successful turnaround strategy implementations. Suggestions for further research are made
