Abstract

An intelligent control of traffic flows under conditions of incomplete information is considered. A method for constructing a model of traffic flows control based on the controlled networks theory is described. The optimal control problem is formulated. The control is searched as a program for traffic lights switching at intersections. The search for the optimal control is performed by the variational genetic algorithm. An example of solving the problem for a road network consisting of four intersections is given.
