Abstract

Background: The web-based development of decision support system is proposed for allocating employees tonext position in accordance with company’s standards. Methodology: The proposed solution has handled the problem that appeared in Presisi Cimanggis Makmur Co., Depok West Java Indonesia, where there was not enough information to describe the actual condition of employee’s. Results: Moreover, the information is in the form of printed paper, it easily lost or scattered. Profile matching is one of approach methods, which has been used to help Human Resource Department to determine employee competency gap against position’s standard of competence. Conclusion: To build the system, it used a simplified development process with UML models, PHP and MySQL as tools.
