Abstract

The lower detection limit of two types of TLD rods (GR-200A and MCP-100D) based on LiF:Mg,Cu,P has been studied at different thermal treatments. Both materials showed considerably high, lower detection limits when readout and annealed at 260°C. Irrespective of readout and annealing temperatures applied, the lower detection limits of GR-200A rods were much lower than the lower detection limits of MCP-100D rods. © 2009 Springer-Verlag.
