Abstract

This paper presents the Semantic Field concept which enables the global comparison of ontologies. This concept uses the results obtained from ontology matching tools to estimate the global similarity between ontologies. It has been used in a tool called the Semantic Field Tool (SemFiT). A demo tool is provided (http://khaos.uma.es/SFD). © 2009 Springer Berlin Heidelberg.
