Abstract

It is well known from software project management practice that developers’ familiarity with the principles of several different modeling approaches can be beneficial for the development team. Changing the modeling and design aspects from time to time during the system development, e.g., from OO to relational, from relational to functional, and the like, often helps prevent schedule overruns (Zahniser 1993).
