Pendidikan Karakter Berbasis Budaya Islami di MTs Tahfidz Yanbu’ul Qur’an Menawan Kudus

Abstract

This research is trying to explain about character building with islamic culture based in MTs. Tahfidz Yanbu’ul Qur’an Menawan Kudus. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach. The purpose of this research is to explore a phenomenon in MTs. Tahfis Yanbu’ul Qur’an Menawan Kudus in the context of character building which is based on islamic culture. The data are collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis uses non- statistical data. The results are: 1. Religious character, the students apply islamic culture based characteristic values such as tahajjud prayer, reciting Asma’ul husna, pray in congregation every time, tahfidzul Qur’an, Dhuha prayer, pray, reciting wirid after prayer; 2. Being honest, all students try to make themselves as a believable person in applying all the rules in the madrasah; 3. Discipline, all studenta show solicitous and obey the madrasah’s rule; 4. Love the homeland, all students have shown the loyalty in joining the flag ceremony in every national feastday, especially the flag ceremony at the madarasah; 5. Being responsible, all students did their responsibility and duty in memorizing al-Qur’an and reciting it to the advisor or the Kyai
