Abstract
This chapter discusses the changes from classical IR to Mobile IR concerning the document collections. We first briefly highlight the changes in “traditional” collections, namely text and multimedia. We then focus on collections that are specific to Mobile IR: we present the literature on Apps retrieval and we discuss the important links between Mobile IR and movement data, points-of-interest, and the Internet of Things.
