Abstract

In this chapter we describe the Decentralized Reasoning Service (DRS), a prototype service implementation that performs the cooperative reasoning process presented before. We present also the Context Model Service (CMS), another prototype service that had to be to implemented to support the DRS providing access to up-to-date context information. Finally, to show how the use of the DRS simplifies the design of ubiquitous applications, we discuss the use of context and inference services in the implementation of a prototype application.
