Abstract

Beyond the practical Web design and development applications of the sustainable Web ecosystem model there are certainly many higher-level applications. Every day those of us on this side of the access digital divide see the change and effect that the Internet has conducted on just about everything. Our classrooms, places of work, modes of business, social spots, electoral processes, sporting events, theaters, museums, parks, historic markers, methods of politics—essentially almost every way in which we interact with the world around us—have all been substantially impacted and altered in the past few years by the Web.
