Crítica a los conceptos homoparentalidad y familia homoparental: alcances y límites desde el enfoque de las relaciones y vínculos parentales de las personas de la diversidad sexual

Abstract

In this paper I present some of the findings of my doctoral research “Paren- tal Arrangements of gay men in Mexico City: destabilization or continu- ity?” While identifying the similarities and differences in the arrangements of people of the sexual diversity, I analyze and criticize the terms homoparentality and homoparental family, and I point out some of the implications of using such terms without identifying the legacy of its cre- ation and I propose some other options.
