Pengaruh Media Promosi Kesehatan Terhadap Pengetahuan dan Pencegahan Penyakit Tuberkulosis Pada Masyarakat Desa Uteunkot Kecamatan Muara Dua Kota Lhokseumawe

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Tuberkulosis (TB) adalah penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh bakteri Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Penyakit ini menjadi epidemik di dunia. Indonesia merupakan Negara dengan jumlah penderita TB Paru terbanyak kedua di dunia setelah india. Pada tahun 2018, terdeteksi 8.471 kasus tuberkulosis di Provinsi Aceh. Kota Lhokseumawe dengan CNR kasus TBC tertinggi berada di Provinsi Aceh, yaitu sebesar 351 per kasus 100.000 penduduk. Di Kabupaten Muara Dua jumlah penderita tuberkulosis yaitu 201 per 100.000 penduduk. Tujuan: Mengetahui gambaran pengaruh media promosi kesehatan tentang pengetahuan dan pencegahan penyakit tuberkulosis pada masyarakat desa uteunkot kecamatan muara dua kota Lhokseumawe. Metode: Penelitian ini melibatkan 90 masyarakat dengan Jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen one group pretest-posttest design. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan lembar check list dan observasi. Hasil: Sebagian besar responden pengetahuan cukup tentang pengetahuan dan pencegahan penyakit tuberkulosis sebelum diberikan edukasi terbanyak pada kategori baik 14 orang (15,5%), cukup 54 (60%) dan kurang 22 orang (24%) setelah diberikan edukasi yang terbanyak baik 19 orang (21,1%), cukup 70(77,8%) dan kurang 1 orang (1,1%). Berdasarkan uji stastistik adanya pengaruh pengetahuan terhadap pengetahuan dan pencegahan penyakit tuberculosis didapatkan p-value = 0,000 (p<0,05). Kesimpulan penelitian ini ada pengaruh media promosi pengetahuan terhadap pengetahuan dan pencegahan penyakit tuberculosis. Diharapkan kepada responden agar dapat meningkatkan informasi tentang penyakit tuberkulosis.Kata Kunci: Penyakit tuberkulosis, Pengetahuan, PencegahanBackground: Background: Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis. In 2018, 8,471 cases of tuberculosis were detected in Aceh Province. Lhokseumawe City with the highest CNR of TB cases is in Aceh Province, which is 351 cases per 100,000 residents. In Muara Dua District, the number of tuberculosis sufferers is 201 per 100,000 population. Objective: To find out the description of the influence of health promotion media on knowledge and prevention of tuberculosis in the people of Uteunkot Village, Muara Dua District, Lhokseumawe City. Methods: This study involved 90 people with a quasi-experimental research type of one group pretest-posttest design. Data was collected using a check list sheet and observation. Results: Most of the respondents had sufficient knowledge about knowledge and prevention of tuberculosis before being given education, mostly in the good category, 14 people (15.5%), enough 54 (60%) and lacking 22 people (24%) after being given education, most of them were good 19 people (21.1%), enough 70 (77.8%) and less 1 person (1.1%). Based on statistical tests, the effect of knowledge on knowledge and prevention of tuberculosis was obtained p-value = 0.000 (p <0.05). The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence of knowledge promotion media on knowledge and prevention of tuberculosis.
