Abstract

Risk management is a vital step for software development projects to be successful. A systematic mapping study (SMS) to systematize the empirical evidence of methodologies, methods and standards that deal with risk management in software development projects is presented. Subsequently, a characteristics-based analysis (DESMET method) is conducted to evidence the degree of compliance of the analyzed methodologies regarding the risks for the computing systems implantation process. Finally, conclusions and future works are presented.
