Abstract

We present thermally averaged collision strengths for electron induced transitions in helium from 1s21S, 1s2s 1,3S, 1s2p 3P to higher lying terms 1snl 1,3L with n ≤ 5. Results are tabulated as functions of temperature in the range 3.75 ≤ log T ≤ 5.75. Cross sections are calculated using the convergent close-coupling (CCC) method.
