Abstract

Construction workers are engaged on precast concrete building factories. Construction workers are in contact with cement in the form of concrete. Concrete building factories and plants are almost the same all over the world. Construction works may develop irritant and allergic cement eczema. Individual protective measures are rubber and leather gloves, handwash and hand creams, rubber boots, and special clothings. General prophylaxis against allergic cement eczema is obtained by the addition of ferrous sulfate to the cement.
