Abstract

An International conference on the Foundry Technology and Automation Problems was held in Lubertzy in November 10-12, 1992. A consideration was given to the following problems: finishing equipment; die casting processes, equipment and automated systems; new materials; processes and automated plants for manufacturing dies and molds; core units; Al-alloys melting and pouring facilities; industrial and inter-industrial data-communications network development; concepts of casting CAD; CAD packages (incorporating modules for mathematical and graphical simulation) for die casting and injection molding; the latest advances of the Usman foundry equipment plant.
