Timor deer (Rusa timorensis Blainville,1822) provides a high economic value derived from utilization of most part of the body. To solve the problem, therefore developing timor deer captive breeding activity is necessarily needed. Research was conducted at the timor deer captive breeding in Forest Research (FR) Dramaga, Bogor focused on economic value. This was aimed to evaluate the succesfullness of the captive breeding by means of, financial analysis, such as investation criteria analysis for Benefit Cost Ratio, Net Present Value, and Internal Rate Return. Based on these financial analysis of the timor deer captive breeding in Dramaga FR, it can be said that this dear captive breeding that potencially derives profit. NPV with interest of 18% is about 10.016.512.714, BCR value is 20.82 and value of IRR is 19.75% with capital returned 2.12 years. Up to 10th year, the deer population is increese to 115 tiles (67 stags and 48 hinds) from the early population number of 15 tiles (5 stages and 10 hinds). The deer breeding can be harvested at 2nd year of captivity. In the 10th year however, the optimal sex ratio in the captive breeding should be 1:4 or about 61 tiles composing of 13 stags and 48 hinds. The utilization of deer on the 10th year period therefore, should not more than 54 tiles for the stages only.
