Abstract

As Chile approaches two hundred years of independence, a series of urban initiatives have been undertaken. Downtown Santiago is probably the object of the majority of experimentation, projects as well as investigations. Its density presents a unique stage for interventions alternating between the restoration of public spaces and repopulation.
