The period of the first 1000 days of life (1000 HPK) is a critical node as the beginning of the growth of stunting, which in turn has a long-term impact until it recurs in the life cycle. Malnutrition as a direct cause, especially in children under five, has a short-term impact on increasing morbidity. If this problem is chronic, it will affect cognitive function, namely a low level of intelligence and have an impact on the quality of human resources. In repeated conditions (in the life cycle), children who experience malnutrition early in life (1000 HPK period) have a risk of non-communicable diseases in adulthood. The approach taken in community service activities is to increase the knowledge of mothers of infants under five to prevent child growth disorders by meeting nutritional needs since pregnancy. The solution offered to solve the problem is to increase the knowledge of mothers of infants in the work area of Puskesmas Mangasa Makassar about preventing stunting with proper parenting in the first 1000 days of life. The outputs produced are proceedings, leaflets and flipcharts. The target of this activity is mothers of infants in the work area of Puskesmas Mangasa Makassar. With the target of increasing knowledge in an effort to empower mothers of infants under five to prevent stunting with 6 steps of parenting for the first 1000 days of life
