Abstract

While there are certain morphological characteristics commonly found among rhinoplasty patients of Middle Eastern origin, differences are also observed from patient to patient. These differences are congruent with the wide-ranging region that is considered the Middle East. For instance, dark, thick skin is a common feature, although thinner, lighter skin is often seen in patients from more northern areas such as Northern Iran, Armenia, and Turkey. The abundant rhinoplasty techniques available to the surgeon allow an individualized approach for each patient's anatomy and morphology, which in turn provides for an aesthetically pleasing, natural-looking result.
