Abstract
We study the following problem: Given a transition system T and its quotient T/rr under an equivalence ~, which are the sets L, L' of Hennessy-Milner formulae such that: if p £L and T satisfies p, then T/^ satisfies p;if p €£,' and T/rr satisfies p, then T satisfies p.
