Abstract

We propose a robust 3D object watermarking technique based on spectral decomposition and nonnegative matrix factorization (NMF). The core idea behind our technique is to apply the NMF to small blocks of the spectral coefficient matrix of a 3D triangle mesh. The proposed scheme improves the performance of the data embedding system, perceptual invisibility and it is resistant to a variety of the most common attacks. © 2008 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
