Abstract

Data are presented on the structural properties, water solubility, and chemical reactivity of mechanically activated BaO2. The lattice parameters of BaO2 are found to decrease markedly after mechanical activation for a certain time, which is accompanied by an appreciable increase in solubility and reactivity.
