The electronic and structural characteristics of organic molecules that generate materials with conducting properties will be analyzed, emphasizing specially the design of the material and the methodology for its preparation. We will follow the way to create the material from the molecule and how the material can be used to prepare devices, particularly field effect transistors. © 2008 Springer Netherlands.
