Abstract

A blind watermarking algorithm is proposed for copyright protection of vector map. The watermarking is embedded by changing the x/y-coordinates of vertices within the tolerance of the data. The experiments show that the algorithm is fairly good in imperceptibility and robustness against the following attacks: polyline simplifications, moving and cropping of vertices, and addition of small amounts of random noise, renewal operations (adding, deleting, modifying, etc.). © 2012 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
