Adsorption of heavy metal ions of lead (Pb) by using lignin isolated rice straw has been studied. The lignin ability of rice straw to absorb lead ions has been evaluated by varying of the adsorption time and the pH solution. The Lead (Pb) ion concentration estimated with using atom adsorpsion spectrophotometry. The result shows the optimum condition of Lead ion (Pb) by lignin of adsorpsion time at 30 minutes with pH of solution is 5 and the adsorpsion efeciency is 88.765 % from 10 ppm of coper concentration. In this research, it obtains Langmuir equation 1/m=0.007 1/C + 0.016 and Freundlich equation Log m = 0.690 log C + 1.697.
