Abstract

Background: The government made various efforts to reduce MMR, including improving maternal health services during pregnancy, childbirth and the puerperium. Caesarean birth is performed to reduce complications of pregnancy and childbirth and reduce maternal and infant mortality. Purpose: To determine the sociodemographic profile of caesarean birth in one of the private hospitals in Kendari City. Methods: This wa a descriptive study which was conducted in January 2020. Samples were patients who gave caesarean birth in dr. Ismoyo Kendari Hospital from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2019. Data were obtained from medical records and abstracted into questionnaires, consisting of maternal characteristics and care. Data was tabulated and presented with a table with an explanation. Result: The number of deliveries at dr. Ismoyo Hospital Kendari during the period 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2019 was 914, consisting of 569 were vaginal deliveries (62.3%) and 345 were caesarean deliveries (37.7%). The majority of caesarean birth deliveries were performed at the age of 20-35 years (77.1%), the level of education was high (66.1%), multiparous (57.7%), as housewives (46.7%), and using insurance (96.5%). Almost all respondents used health insurance (96.5%), were treated in class 1 (36.2%), more than half brought referrals from doctors' practices (55.4%) and emergency actions were taken. Conclusion: Percentage of caesarean birth in dr. Ismoyo Hospital Kendari is 37.7%, the majority are aged 20-35 years, highly educated, multiparitas, and as a housewife. The majority of care is done in class 1, referral from a doctor's practice and an emergency action.Keywords: caesarean birth, care, characteristics, labor ABSTRAKLatar belakang: Pemerintah melakukan berbagai upaya untuk menurunkan AKI, termasuk meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan ibu selama kehamilan, persalinan dan nifas. Tindakan seksio sesarea dilakukan untuk mengurangi komplikasi kehamilan dan persalinan serta menurunkan angka kematian ibu dan bayi. Tujuan: mengetahui gambaran sosiodemografi persalinan dengan SC di salah satu Rumah Sakit swasta di Kota Kendari. Metode: Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif yang telah dilakukan pada bulan Januari 2020. Sampel yaitu pasien yang melahirkan dengan SC di RS dr.Ismoyo Kendari mulai 1 Januari 2019 sampai 31 Desember 2019. Data diperoleh dari catatan medik dan diabstraksi ke dalam kuesioner, terdiri dari karakteristik ibu dan perawatan SC. Data ditabulasi dan disajikan dengan tabel disertai penjelasannya. Hasil: Jumlah persalinan di RS dr. Ismoyo Kendari selama periode 1 Januari 2019 sampai 31 Desember 2019 adalah 914 persalinan, terdiri dari persalinan pervaginam 569 (62,3%) dan dengan SC 345 (37,7%). Mayoritas persalinan SC dilakukan pada umur 20-35 tahun (77,1%), tingkat pendidikannya tinggi (66,1%), multipara (57,7%), dan sebagai ibu rumah tangga (46,7%) serta menggunakan asuransi (96,5%). Hampir semua responden menggunakan asuransi kesehatan (96,5%), dirawat di kelas 1 (36,2%), dan lebih dari separuh membawa rujukan dari praktek dokter (55,4%) serta dilakukan tindakan emergensi. Simpulan: Persentase persalinan SC di RS dr. Ismoyo Kendari sebesar 37,7%, mayoritas berumur 20-35 tahun, berpendidikan tinggi, multiparitas, dan sebagai ibu rumah tangga. Perawatan tindakan SC mayoritas dirawat di kelas 1, rujukan dari praktek dokter dan dilakukan tindakan emergensi. Kata kunci: karakteristik, perawatan, persalinan, seksio sesarea
