Abstract

Casein was treated with triethanolamine and made into films. The mechanical properties of the alkali treated casein films were studied under uniaxial and biaxial stress conditions. A reduction in longitudinal stress and elongation at break was observed with the simultaneous application of lateral stress. © 1992, The Society of Polymer Science, Japan. All rights reserved.
