Abstract

Sporotrichosis is considered the most widely distributed subcutaneous mycosis. It is caused by the Sporothrix schenckii complex and it is inoculated by trauma. The lymphocutaneous and the fixed cutaneous forms are the most common type of presentations. The diagnosis is confirmed by fungal culture, where the classic image of peach blossoms or daisies is seen. We present a clinic case of fixed cutaneous sporotrichosis.
