Abstract

The thermal behaviour of the Trombe wall, solar collector-heat storage panel and passive solar heating system is studied by using the integral transform solution technique. The results are compared with the experimental measurements available in the existing literature. Measured thermal performance of the `Izmir Room' is compared with the Trombe wall which has the same thickness and the same heat capacity.
