Abstract

We introduce wavelet transform into terahertz time-domain spectroscopy, and report the analysis of experimental results of water vapor absorption in terahertz range. The extracted absorption lines are in excellent agreement with those previously reported. Wavelet transform in terahertz time-domain spectroscopy can be considered as a novel method for the analysis of the time-domain properties of absorption spectra of terahertz radiation. © 2007 Springer-Verlag New York.
