The article focuses on the testing of Lean tools on a created simulation model in the TX Plant Simulation software environment. Lean manufacturing tools and techniques are a progressive means of increasing the efficiency of production and logistics processes in an economically optimal way. It involves eliminating various types of waste, which requires good analysis and knowledge in the field. The article deals with the selected Lean production tools such as Value Stream Mapping, Milk run and Kanban to improve logistics flows processed in a case study. The output of the implemented case study was the optimization of logistics flows related to the supply of workplaces in the reduction of work in progress.
