A low waste process has been developed for manufacturing originally shaped workpieces of high temperature titanium alloys. A high constructional strength results from structural uniformity in cross-sections of different thickness, isotropic properties, high stable structures and properties at long-term exposure to temperature and combined stresses, as well as from the substitution of a welded joint of a unique shape by an all-metal one. Equipment is suggested to implement the forming of pieces under superplastic conditions.
