Abstract

This article will discuss the mechatronic design of a transhumeral prosthesis, considering and analyzing commercial prosthetic designs, also taking into account the real range of motion of a human arm, the characteristics of speed, torques, a very important parameter that is the aesthetics, the anthropometric measurements of a person, the actuators and materials to be used to obtain an accessible transhumeral prosthesis with the aforementioned parameters.
