Abstract

The influence of chemical structure of the amorphous polymers of different classes on the physical properties (density, coefficient of thermal expansion, glass transition temperature, refractive index, optical sensitivity index, solubility parameter) has been studied. Relations enabling the calculation of these properties exclusively on the basis of the chemical structure of the repeating unit are proposed. © 1976, Walter de Gruyter. All rights reserved.
