Abstract

Awarding distribution system line clearance tree trimming under the terms of a contractual agreement establishing a fixed price for the completion of an entire work project has proven to be a cost-effective alternative to traditional use of time and material basis contract tree crews. Successful utilization starts with establishing clear definition of project work requirements in the form of detailed specifications.
