Abstract

Existing studies associated with indoor positioning require additional infra-structure and have low security, compatibility. Also it doesn't consider a characteristic of environment-friendly. In order to improve these weaknesses of existing studies, this paper proposed indoor positioning method based on LED light and image sensor. And detection method of central point is proposed for improving the reliability and performance. Also we demonstrated the usefulness of proposed system through experiment and simulation. © 2012 Springer-Verlag.
